What I've Learned

1. It's people and the relationships you form with them throughout a lifetime that really make you happy... not money and material things.

2. Don't worry about people laughing at you because you're a little different. Pity them, because they are all the same.

3. There is something you can learn from everybody... even an adversary!

4. My mother, who seemed cautious and fearful of everything when she was living, turned out to be the bravest person I ever saw when she was facing death.

5. Most people live as if they're never going to die and die as if they never lived.

6. They say that when you are fasting, your mind operates at a higher level. Maybe one day I'll try it and see.

7. No matter how hard you try, you're just not going to please everybody.

8. After the age of 30, love is no longer a valid excuse for a dumb decision.

9. Two will never be one if neither ever learns the meaning of the word, compromise!

10. Truth hurts and requires changes... but changes are so difficult, some folks would just rather live a lie.
