KEEPING THE FAITH: RANDOM PRAYERS "ON THE DOWNLOAD"
DEAR GOD: As I go to bed ready to close my eyes in sleep, I think of all the things I wish I had not said, had not done. I offer those to you with sorrow, and pray that you will wrap them in your blanket of forgiveness. Thank you for this day, for all that has been done, and even for all that has been left undone. Yes, Keith, people like to use the Lord for their "work" when the bible tells us that God uses people to carry out His will on this earth. Some don't see that role reversal. That's where the trouble starts!!
CNN interviewed the husband of the woman in the video and he says that the congressman was a known "slacker" who used whatever means to his benefit. Holding up Christian values was just a ploy to the weak-minded to get elected. It worked! Let's see if it keeps working. Perhaps he can grow a long beard and carve duck calls.
