Eclipse 2017

For about 90 minutes yesterday...Across these Divided United States.. We weren't democrats or Republicans, Black ,Latino,Asian, American Indian or White....We weren't Arab or Christian...or White Supremacists and Anti Fa...We weren't Alt Right or Alt Left...We were just human beings, just people in awe of something we could neither control or understand....

The Eclipse!

Everybody was watching it...

Oh there of course were the usual kill joys who were underwhelmed or said they were underwhelmed...But I'll bet that even they watched...

People had their special glasses and their smartphones and were looking and snapping "Sun Selfies" or should I say "Moon Selfies..."

Personally I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen...I hadn't planned on watching...but a lady allowed me to use her glasses and observe...I was in awe....

At that moment, I felt very small in the larger scheme of things...I think we were all reminded of how very small we are in the larger scheme of things...

It was nice that for 90 minutes..We put political differences and what happened on Game Of Thrones, Power and Insecure on the back burner....

for something really larger than life!
