On this day that the government officially remembers your birthday..(His birthday was actually January 15th) here is a sobering thought..People and I mean Black people when I say this.. are still debating the value of what you said vs. what

Malcolm X said rather than applying critical thought and synthesizing and building coalitions like the young Black Panther Deputy Chairman, Fred Hampton did.

Sadly all three of you lost your lives for seeking equity and inclusion for black folks in America in every space and human endeavor. I do remain hopeful we will eventually figure it out.
