PS: For the record, Critical Race Theory is taught in law schools, IT IS NOT TAUGHT IN ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM....But teaching true American History, such as Slavery and Segregation SHOULD BE TAUGHT, if it's not already!Critical Race Theory is a legal theory that was birthed in the academy as a framework to analyze law and policy not history or any other curricula. Critical Race Theory consists of counternarratives but its not synonymous with it. It's been taught in law schools for years. Those who oppose it do so because they don't know it's origin or it's basis of analysis. It's a catch all for the lazy minded. For those who just watch FOX NEWS...They lump CRT, 1619, DEI, altogether as if they're interchangeable.
