What I've Learned
1. Feed your faith and all of your doubts will starve to death.
2.No matter how high in life you get, there is always one more tier higher you want to go! (or at least you should!)
3.In eating and drinking as in life, it's better to finish something off than to leave it hanging around.
4.Setting limitations for yourself isn't weakness...it's maturity!
5.Whenever something bad happens or is happening to me..I always say- "One day you'll look back at this and laugh." So far, I've been right!
6.Ever notice how everybody is just having sex until they either fall in love or get married...then it's called "making love"?
7.You gotta trust somebody.
8.You really don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows!
9.Every Man Needs an Arena.....Blogging has become mine.
10. Work Hard, so you won't feel guilty when you're playin hard!
Peace!

KEEPING THE FAITH: RANDOM PRAYERS "ON THE DOWNLOAD"
DEAR GOD: Sometimes anger seems so near to the surface of my life. An unwelcome word, the remembrance of a past hurt, a disappointment I had not expected can make my emotions swirl with the force of a small cyclone. Sometimes my heart feels hot, my nerves feel edgy, my mind feels like lit dynamite. And sometimes, I just turn silent, go inward, cut myself off from anything and anyone that could ease the throbbing inside. I hold on to my anger, as if to let it go would render the reason for my anger meaningless. I pray that your great love will burn away my anger and leave me settled in the cool breeze of your presence. Help me let go, not only of the anger, but of what made me angry in the first place. Let me breathe deep the wonder and peace of love. Amen.

IVE ENJOYED THIS ALOT
Yes and I've learned a lot of those things as well. My disagreement is with #3. I, like you, was raised to eat "everything on the plate." Full or not, we ate it all. Granted, it was home cooked food, balanced with meat, vegetables and grain (we had rice too often.) But all that "clean your plate" resulted in our battle with weight throughout our adult lives. Count how many of us are dealing with high blood pressure or the onset of diabetes?
Leave something on the plate!!!
