What The Hell?

I have been on a mini -hiatus from blogging....Not really a writers block...just wiped out and tired.... Okay, yeah...Writers block.  I was reading the news this morning and came across this story... A story so funny that I could not make it up!

Apparently, the guy in the photo above, Paolo Henrique dos Santos was hoping to look like the Incredible Hulk for just a few hours, but the Brazilian pool attendant's new identity lasted a lot longer than he probably anticipated, thanks to the industrial-strength paint that he used to cover his body. (I always ask myself...Why do people do things like this at Football games and such?)

While the paint was the perfect shade of green and accentuated his muscle tone nicely, it happens to be designed to coat ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines — not human skin.

It took 24 hours for the superhero and a crew of (now) intimate friends and family to scrub off the "incredible" green substance. The memory will never fade, of course, but that's all right with dos Santos, who says he doesn't regret the incident.

Yeah, he would say that...to er uh...save face!

KEEPING THE FAITH: RANDOM PRAYERS "ON THE DOWNLOAD"

DEAR GOD: As I go to bed ready to close my eyes in sleep, I think of all the things I wish I had not said, had not done. I offer those to you with sorrow, and pray that you will wrap them in your blanket of forgiveness. Thank you for this day, for all that has been done, and even for all that has been left undone. Let me rest now in your peace. Amen.
