Message To Kim

Of course , one can't ignore the threat of North Korea....I could argue that it's a slow news day, but that's not true...Kim Jung Un is holding a certain part of our planet in jeopardy in a dangerous pissing contest he appears to be having with The United States, South Korea and Japan....

For the past few weeks , he has been talking pretty tough and moving missles and threatening nuclear war.
While some people are taking him seriously, a lot of his former countrymen to the south appear to be going about their daily lives and ignoring him.

The South Koreans and in many cases...The Japanese have said that they've heard it all before...After all, his father and his grandfather before him made threats like this all the time after the cease fire of 1953..The difference is....The youngen's rhetoric is a lot more heated and inflammatory....

Almost as if he is seriously considering locking horns with the United States and it's allies...He does have a 1.2 million man army...but he also has a lot of antiquated weaponry from the 1950's....He does have nukes, but we have a whole lot more and planes and ships that are right outside his borders that can deliver them...

Last summer the North Koreans launched a missle that fell apart in the middle of the Pacific Ocean...making me doubt that he can deliver his bombs as fast and efficient as we can!

My open message to young Kim, who is about my daughters age is to think....This is not 1953...

In 1953, your country had the aid of Red China....This is 2013...60 years later...China and the U.S. are involved in a lot of business...China is not looking to getting into a fight with the U.S. right now...Too much money is exchanging hands....It's money after all that really makes things pop....Forget ideologies and ideals...It's money honey!

The Russians, The Chinese ,Japan and most of the U.N. wants you to stand down....Don't be a fool...Don't start a fight that you can't possibly win and that will leave your country in shambles...Negotiate...Go back to the table...People are willing to work with you....It's give a little, get a little...Again, Don't be a damn fool...This is NOT 1953!
