"And, The Winner Is...!"


Well, I didn't get a chance to watch the Grammys last night but, I did go online to find out who actually won this year. The following abbreviated list is what I discovered for the top categories as well as R & B, Rap, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, and Gospel. I was really hoping that Philly "homegirl", Jazmine Sullivan, would have walked away with something last night but, apparently, that didn't happen. And, what's this I hear about Chris Brown cancelling his scheduled performance because he is wanted by the police???!!! Anyway, let me know your thoughts regarding any highlights/performances from the show, the winners, or even the losers (as the case maybe)...

The Grammys are just a big popularity contest..It's all political..They haven't had anything to do with good music in years!

I agree with Political Sean...The Grammys and The American Music Awards, BET Awards,et al haven't been about good music in years..It's just about who is hot at the moment. They practically make up awards to give to some people.(People they like)

I watched two Basketball games and part of the Pro-Bowl...I couldn't
watch another Television show...I went out with some friends..This is
the first I'm hearing about the results.

I too thought Jazmine Sullivan should have won something. I love Chrisette so I am glad that she was recognized. Um...one thing, not taking anything from Jennifer Hudson, but I really thought Eric Benet had it.

I didn't watch The Grammys, but am glad to hear that Al Green, Adele, and Chrisette Michele got awards.

Sad news about Chris Brown and his felony domestic violence charge against Rhianna.

The Grammys were rather boring.

I'm still mad Boyz II Men was singing back up for Justin Timberlake.

I'm a fan of Adele so I'm glad she won. I love Jennifer Hudson but I think that was a sympthy award. Raquel Saadiq's and Eric Benet albums are much beetr.
