She is genuine...More genuine than any politician you're going to see...She hasn't been in politics long enough to get jaded, long enough to be bought..or sold...She's what each and everyone of could be if we had the guts, the imagination and the luck to become..
Just a few years ago..she was a college graduate who was bartending to make ends meet..She was like me and most of us recent college grads...We had loans that had to be paid, now...No time to even dream about attempting to get a job in OUR MAJOR!..We've got to survive first...
So she was a bartender...An opinionated bartender with a college degree....She made a run for congress in her district against a popular incumbent Democrat....The kind of person that keeps getting elected by default....They no longer have to promise anything, they no longer have to do anything..People just elect them because well, they know the name...Most of the time...Nobody even bothers to run against an incumbent like this...They don't even bother to campaign....They know they got it in the bag..
Not this time...This time, a pretty little upstart shocked the establishment and the nation...she actually won! She was 28 years old and 29 when she was actually elected..The youngest woman in U.S. history to be elected to congress.
She's an anomaly...She's actually doing what she said she was going to do....And she's caring the hell out of the right wing Republican establishment....
THAT'S WHY I LOVE HER!!!
