Are You Kidding Me Florida?

Really? I don't know where to begin on this one...Once more we are in that strange state of Florida...Once more we are dealing with a White male who has gunned down a black male and has used(ABUSED) the stand your ground law and used the justification that "he was afraid for his life" and he felt threatened....Once more there was one juror, maybe more that suspended reality and could not return a guilty verdict for first degree murder which Mr. Dunn, a racist bully certainly deserves...

They found him guilty of three counts of attempted murder and three firearms counts which carry about 90 years in prison...a life sentence for the 47 year old...but somehow couldn't convict him of killing 19 year old Jordan Davis...Almost like they believed that somehow the slain teenager was somehow responsible for all this carnage...

Unbelievable...How could you believe that Dunn tried to murder the three surviving teens, but didn't murder the one person who died??? That is just puzzling the hell out of me...

Jurors on Saturday night found a white Florida man guilty of three counts of attempted murder and one other charge for the fatal shooting of a black teenager over loud music, but a mistrial was declared on the most-serious charge against the defendant — first-degree murder.

After deliberating for more than 30 hours over four days, the jury convicted Michael Dunn, 47, of three counts of attempted murder in the second degree and one count of firing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle, but deadlocked on the first-degree murder charge, prompting the judge in the case to declare a mistrial on that charge. Florida State Attorney Angela Corey(She tried George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin murder case) indicated she would seek a retrial on that count.

Sentencing on the other charges was set for March 24. Dunn still faces at least 60 years in prison on the lesser counts. He could face a sentence of life in prison if he was convicted on the first-degree murder charge on retrial.

Michael Dunn argued he was acting in self-defense when he shot at an SUV 10 times while parked next to four teens at a Jacksonville, Fla., gas station in November 2012 after an argument about loud rap music emanating from the vehicle. The shots killed Jordan Davis, 17, of Marietta, Ga.

Michael Dunn showed no emotion as the verdicts were read. Davis' parents left the courtroom in tears.
But Dunn’s attorney, Cory Strolla, said later that his client was stunned by the results.
“He basically said, ‘How is this happening?’“ he said. “It has not settled in.” 9I find his reaction totally amazing...He didn't expect to get convicted....What world is he living in??)

“It’s been a long, long road and we're so very happy to have just a little bit of closure,'' Davis' mother, Lucy McBath, told reporters later.

Yeah ,she got just a little bit of closure...Not enough...Here's hoping the Prosecution gets a conviction next go around.

Mark Geragos and Mar O'Mara are making the most sense, saying the criminal justice system targets and demonizes young Black males and prosecutors do it every day. Michael Dunns exist throughout America and somehow the idea America is beyond race is a joke, said Mark Geragos

Florida is just as good ole boy as the rest of the South...we just have beaches and a few more cities that the other states. North of I-4...and the interior of the state for all practical purposes is GA and Bama....and is largely GOP.

I wanted to believe that the prosecution and Angela Corley put on a good case in that trial. After the Dunn Verdict I went back and reviewed their performance in the Zimmerman trial. I have now arrived to the conclusion that tje Florida District Attorneys office is a bought and paid for subsidiary of the NRA.. cut and dry.

Their level of incompetence can ONLY be on purpose...no one could hold that office let alone pass the bar and not get murder convictions..NO ONE.

The good news is that they could go back to trial and go for murder 2 but I think it would be a waste of tax payers dollars since I'm pretty sure with the convictions they have, he won't be getting out anyday now.

Florida should be ashamed of themselves...from rigged voting/elections to killing black teenagers for sport, the cannibals are taking over. Don't believe me? Take a look at this:

***Lady kills her own kid? Give her millions of dollars in cash and endorsements so she can feel at peace with her 'pain' from losing a child that she murdered. Add that up...

***Trayvon Martin. The kid was going to the store...skittles and iced tea...minding his own business...murdered by George Zimmerman in cold blood. They tried to persuade the public who heard everything and some saw everything, but they refused to sell out and chose to tell the truth. Zimmerman's history says he's a ticking time-bomb....he's still walking around with a pistol, done kicked his wife's and gf's asses, and then... O_O ...wait a minute people...didn't Zimmerman tell the court that he COULD NOT BOX BUT THIS BITCH IS OUT HERE WANTING TO DO CELEBRITY BOXING MATCHES? THEN RAN LIKE ONE WHEN 'THE GAME' CAME CALLING? Florida has not only continued to make this fool a celebrity, they've made complete mockery of the Martin family and my people as an entity.

***This recent verdict. Once again Florida proves to the rest of the country and the world that they have their own laws...laws that send an innocent woman to 20 years for standing her ground firing a warning shot in the air to protect her and her family from her abused husband (who had a history of abusing her)...but this guy does what again? stand your ground? O_O How can someone have 4 attempted murder charges and use a stand your ground law? dammit...my bad...HE KILLED SOMEONE!!! isn't this like passive-aggressive...or like oil and cold water...or something...for none of that foolery in the verdict adds up...

The verdict does not need to be thrown out. The state will retry him on the murder charge. They need to introduce his jailhouse letters and attack his character. He needs to be held accountable by the state of Florida for the murder of Jordan Davis. Not just the attempted murder of the other three passengers.
